OUR HISTORY
CLM Logistics Group (Cargo, Logistics, Moving / CLM Cargo) was founded on April 17, 2007, in Medellín, by Cristina Corrales Gallón, an international business graduate from the University of Medellín (2003-2013) with three years of experience in freight forwarding (2004-2007). A passionate salesman since high school and university, she was joined by Maria Lucia Jaramillo, a capital partner, import client, and accountant, and Leyza Gallón, a mother and honorary partner.
Initially, our strongest operation was exporting, especially to Venezuela. However, due to difficulties with the CADIVI exchange control system, exports fell considerably, presenting us with our first major economic challenge. As a result, we focused on strengthening our import operations, which remain the company's flagship business to this day.
CLM Cargo's added value lies in the quality and personalized attention it offers its clients, making it a strategic partner in international trade.
CI CLM REPRESENTACIONES SAS was established in 2012 to act as an intermediary between our clients and their suppliers/customers, facilitating import and export processes and reducing their operating costs. As a core business, we also handle e-commerce sales of our clients' products on national platforms such as Linio, Mercado Libre, and Éxito.com.
CLM COLOMBIAN LOGISTICS & MERCHANDISE LLC was established in 2015 in Miami, USA, providing both services: the entire logistics chain of CLM Cargo, import and export intermediation services of CI CLM Representaciones SAS, and e-commerce sales on eBay and Amazon.
At CLM Cargo and throughout the group, "our greatest asset is our team". Positive communication and excellent customer service have always been our guiding principles, both internally and externally. We believe that all sales efforts and the work of the entire team are geared towards building long-term relationships based on trust and collaboration, creating win-win situations.
This is how CLM Cargo has strengthened its commercial ties with various national and international companies (clients/suppliers), who now rely on us as their international freight forwarder or supplier, primarily in Colombia and the United States.
CLM Cargo Spain is a project we have been working on since 2023. We have established some interesting strategic alliances, though these have undergone some changes due to market fluctuations and the evolving needs of our suppliers. However, we continue to work towards its success.
Below, we outline the main milestones we have achieved over time.

2007 Colombia - Medellín
We were established as AGENCIA CLM GRUPO LOGÍSTICO LTDA, operating under the commercial brand CLM CARGO, led by Cristina Corrales in partnership with Leyza Gallón and María Lucia Jaramillo. The name "CLM" represents the initials: C for Cristina, L for Leyza, and M for María.
2008 Colombia - Medellín
Cristina Corrales acquired María Lucia Jaramillo's share, becoming the majority shareholder of the company.

2012 Colombia - Medellín
CI CLM REPRESENTACIONES SAS was founded, a sister company dedicated to facilitating import and export processes for our clients' products.

2013 Colombia - Medellín
We refreshed the brand with a logo redesign.

2014 Colombia - Medellín
We reinvented our image again. We redefined the meaning of our name, as Lucia had been no longer part of the team since 2008, and we felt it was time to give the name more strength and purpose. We reviewed what we do, what our essence is, and that is moving cargo through logistics and also moving household goods. Therefore, we gave a new meaning to our CLM.
As for the logo, lowercase letters became trendy, and with all the changes, we also decided to update it once again.

2015 United States - Miami
After so much traveling, we OPENED! COLOMBIAN LOGISTICS & MERCHANDISE LLC - CLM Cargo LLC. We wanted the name to make sense to us, and as Colombians doing logistics and merchandise in another country, we thought the name was perfect. We already had operations in the United States, but now we were going to manage it ourselves—what a learning experience! The way of working is different there, the regulations are different, even the food is different. Still, we adapted and moved forward with this new project.

2017 United States - Miami
In 2017, we decided to unify our names and brands, and the accountant we hired changed our name to COLSTORE LLC (2017-2019). Initially, we thought it would be a positive step. What we hadn't anticipated was that the process had to be done in several stages, which led to difficulties with the U.S. authorities. We later resolved these issues and were able to continue operating.
In 2019, we reverted to our original name, and everything was back in compliance with the law.
2019 Colombia - Medellín
We solidified our brand as CLM Cargo, with a fresh and colorful image update.

2019 United States - Miami
This year, we had a season in Miami, where COLSTORE was born. The concept of this brand was to send merchandise from the United States to Colombia through our courier or parcel service. It went well, but over time, we realized that this was not our main business, so we put the project on hold.
We also took into account the e-commerce boom; we were active on Amazon, eBay, Mercado Libre, Linio, and Exito.com, but we also realized that this wasn't our core business.
We transformed our brand from CLM Shop to CLM Colstore.

2021 Colombia - Medellín
Thanks to the advice of our lawyer, we formed a partnership between Cristina Corrales, Leyza Gallón, Xiomara Álvarez, who had been working with us for 10 years, and Alejandra Saldarriaga, who had also been with us for 8 years, thus strengthening the relationship and foundations of the company.
HABLEMOS DE CARGA, with the aim of sharing our learnings and leveraging social media, was launched on November 9, 2021. It was an audiovisual project on social media titled "Hablemos de Carga, the Cargo Space of CLM Cargo." The second episode was released on March 19, 2022, and from there, we continued with 8 episodes in that season. In the show, we had a guest who shared insights about their processes and experiences in foreign trade and international logistics.
2022 Colombia - Medellín
We refreshed ourselves! Our company CI CLM Representaciones SAS underwent a rebranding to better align with the identity of CLM Cargo.

2023 Spain - Barcelona
After traveling several times to the old continent, we did it again. We partnered with an agent to start making our mark, beginning with Spain and aiming to expand to all European countries.

2024 Colombia - Medellín
On September 4, 2024, we took a significant step and formalized our project "HABLEMOS DE CARGA" in collaboration with Frecuencia U, 940AM, the cultural radio station of the University of Medellín. The program, Frecuencia Logística, is hosted by Jaime Tobón and produced by Cristina Corrales. We also invite professionals from the import/export sector, cargo generators, industry associations, and other entities to share their experiences in the logistics process and as individuals. The show is broadcast on the radio station and on social media platforms.
