Colombia Client Database
This service is mandatory.
The database is the starting point: it helps identify potential customers worldwide and provides an overview of the current market landscape.
Export declarations in Colombia from the past three months are public information. The database we provide includes all the details contained in those declarations. If I want to see who is exporting the same product in Colombia, I search by HS code. If I already know one or more competitors exporting the product and want to know where they are shipping it, I search by NIT.
Negotiations with potential buyers must be handled directly by the client, as you are the one who knows the technical specifications of your product.
Support during negotiations is billed per hour/partial hour at COP 250,000, depending on the client’s needs and the complexity of the process.
Under this model, the client uses the database to profile prospects, make contact, conduct follow-ups, and manage the process.
Accounting and Foreign Exchange Advisory & Support
This service is optional.
Not all accountants are familiar with foreign trade, exchange control regulations, and compensation accounts. We can recommend a trusted specialist you can work with to ensure this part of the process is managed correctly.
Foreign trade operations in Colombia are supervised by DIAN and the Central Bank (BANREP), and responsibilities remain in effect for five years from the date of the transaction — in this case, the export. Penalties may be legal and even criminal, which is why we strongly recommend receiving proper advice.
Contract Advisory & Support
This service is optional.
More than just buying and selling, it focuses on establishing future terms between the contracting parties, including responsibilities and obligations. This is another step where we provide support, ensuring peace of mind throughout your international trade process.
