When the cargo is very large or heavy and the cost of air transport exceeds the budget, transporting by sea in consolidated / LCL is the right option to mobilize your import or export cargo and the best of all is that you do not have to fill all the container to be able to dispatch and you pay only for what corresponds to your cargo.

It must be taken into account that when LCL or Less-than-container consolidation loads present more weight than volume, depending on the shipping company they generate a density surcharge, this also applies for pieces that measure more than 3MT / 118.11 'or that one (1) single piece weigh more than 3000kg / 6614Lb.

If your cargo is already larger on average 15-20TON / M3 - 33.069-44092, the ideal for you will be to transport it in an FCL Full container load, or also if your cargo is delicate and can be damaged or contaminated in the case of food with other products. There are different types of containers.

The types of standard containers are the most used, the refrigerated ones are used to transport goods that need temperature control such as food, the Flat Rack are for goods that measure more than 2.3 or 2.6 such as tires for special vehicles or machinery.
